The department said driving schools and driver's licensing processes at the department can resume operations from 8am to 4pm starting Monday .
"Among the services that can resume include the teaching of driver's education curriculum 01,02 and 03, qualifying tests at institutes , theory and practical tests on circuits and roads, and computerised traffic rules tests at centres recognised by the department," it said. The department also advised the public to follow standard operating procedures to contain the spread of Covid-19.
These include practising social distancing by staying a metre away from the next person, wearing masks, especially when unwell and keeping hands clean by washing or using hand sanitisers.
On d contrary, getting proper haircuts is more in need than learning to drive.
