Leading index falls 4% in July

MALAYSIA’S Leading Index dropped 4% in July 2021 year-on-year to 105 points versus 109.4 points in July 2020, according to the Department of Statistics Malaysia. The LI is a predictive tool used to anticipate economic upturns and downturns for an average of four to six months ahead.
