Kula defends move to send workers to Japan

Human Resources Minister M. Kulasegaran says only those assessed by the Japan government to be skilled and competent in the Japanese language will be considered. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, May 15, 2019.

SENDING semi-skilled Malaysian workers to Japan will help them gain valuable experience that they can bring back home, said Human Resources Minister M. Kulasegaran today. The minister was defending the government’s announcement that it will sign a memorandum of cooperation of Japan, which he said was still being drafted.
