On Saturday , Kedah police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat told Bernama that the lock-up was temporarily closed after about 50 detainees and four policemen on duty tested positive for Covid-19 in July. Comm Kamarul Zaman said the outbreak at the district police headquarters was under control as all infected detainees had been transferred to three other detention centres in the state which have Covid-19 treatment and quarantine facilities."Out of the four infected police personnel, three were warded at Kulim Hospital and the other one self-quarantined at home," he added.

After moving to Phase 2 of NRP, three states no longer meet criteriaNew Covid-19 cases in Penang, Sarawak, and Pahang trending up for past seven days. Not surprising since no proper mass testing is done on the asymptomatic population in these states. You really don't know what is happening below the radar.
