KUCHING: Dengan perpecahan yang semakin jelas dalam PKR Sarawak selepas satu konvensyen negeri parti itu diadakan di Miri hari ini, seorang penyokong kumpulan Baru Bian menyifatkan acara itu gagal dengan kehadiran kurang daripada 500 orang.
Konvensyen tersebut, yang dirasmikan oleh Presiden PKR Anwar Ibrahim, diadakan atas arahan kepimpinan pusat parti itu selepas pengerusi PKR Sarawak, Baru Bian berkata ia dibatalkan. Beliau berkata, sebilangan anggota memboikot acara tersebut, sementara yang lain keliru sama ada konvensyen itu akan diadakan, tetapi bilangan anggota yang hadir melebihi jangkaan mereka.
Beliau mendakwa wujud “perjanjian budiman atas semangat Perjanjian Malaysia 1963” bahawa semua urusan negeri akan diputuskan oleh majlis kepimpinan PKR negeri Sarawak.
