Pengarah Kesihatan negeri Datuk Dr Ding Lay Ming berkata, ia berikutan anggota kesihatan yang dimaksudkan merupakan kes positif Covid-19 yang dilaporkan semalam.
"Saringan awal ke atas lima orang kontak keluarga yang tinggal serumah dengan anggota ini didapati negatif untuk Covid-19," katanya dalam satu kenyataan malam ini. Terdahulu, tular di Facebook, seorang lelaki menyatakan isteri dan anaknya diminta untuk membuat saringan selepas seorang anggota kesihatan yang menjalankan tugas di kemudahan berkenaan positif Covid-19.
Mengulas lanjut, Dr Ding berkata, anggota kesihatan berkenaan sebelum ini mempunyai gejala Influenza Like Illness dan bukan diletakkan sebagai pesakit dalam siasatan untuk jangkitan Covid-19.
