Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, sebanyak 5,392 kes bersamaan 99.1 peratus adalah terdiri daripada kategori satu dan dua.Katanya, sebanyak 5,439 kes positif menunjukkan peningkatan berbanding semalam, 4,744 kes sekali gus mengatasi 4,409 kes sembuh.

“Jumlah pesakit Covid-19 yang memerlukan alat bantuan pernafasan merekodkan sedikit penurunan iaitu 70 kes berbanding semalam, 72 kes. Pesakit Covid-19 yang memerlukan rawatan di unit rawatan rapi (ICU) turut merekodkan penurunan, 124 kes berbanding semalam, 129 kes,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
