Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Warisan's defeat in the Kimanis by-election today could be because the voters in that parliamentary constituency had yet to embrace the Pakatan Harapan administration.
Warisan, which helms the state government in Sabah, is allied to Harapan. Umno-led BN was defeated by Harapan in the 14th general election in May 2018 after being in power since independence. He was speaking to reporters after attending the"Majlis Makan Malam Santai 2020 Parlimen Kuala Kedah" event near here tonight.
"Yes, we will find out why we lost. The defeat was worse than previously . So we want to know why - what caused the people in Sabah to be disappointed with our administration,” he said.

I know Kimanis is BN area. However, PH won last GE due to Malay support. Now Malay don't support PH due they felt threaten. They see that they're frequently attacked. While Chinese & Indian have reasons not to support PH. Internal gaduh n miscommunication in PH also problem.

Everyone knew BN will win. Overseas people as well. Infact all of the coming elections BN will win. PH will loose all until there is change in policy.
Present policies did not go down well therefore changes is necessary. Cabinet not wise and strong enough to beat the waves. Representatives are not working hard enough to meet and gain public support.
