BEKAS Menteri Besar Selangor Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo menyerahkan kepada pucuk pimpinan Umno sama ada untuk memilih beliau sebagai calon pada pilihan raya umum akan datang. Beliau berkata, beliau akan tetap membantu Barisan Nasional untuk mendapatkan kembali kerusi Parlimen Sungai Besar walaupun beliau tidak dipilih untuk bertanding di kerusi itu.
