Pengarah Urusannya, Datuk Shahril Ridza Redzuan berkata, setakat ini pihaknya menolak kesemua tawaran yang diterima daripada entiti swasta asing, mahu pun tempatan meskipun banyak tawaran diterima.
“Banyak tawaran yang kami terima daripada pelbagai pihak. Namun, jawapan kami kepada mereka sangat mudah. Kami tidak berminat untuk menjual. “Pihak terbabit turut berhasrat membeli PLUS pada harga jauh lebih rendah daripada nilai sebenar, selain mahu membayar harga substandard kepada Khazanah dan menggunakan perbezaan harga pembayaran dan nilai sebenar sebagai diskaun tol kepada rakyat.
“Kalau nak beli daripada Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja atau Khazanah, anda perlu menawarkan harga pasaran yang lebih wajar. Selepas itu kalau nak beri diskaun itu daripada keuntungan anda, bukan daripada kami,” katanya dalam temu bual dengan TV3 yang disiarkan semalam. Khazanah memiliki 51 peratus kepentingan dalam PLUS manakala bakinya dimiliki KWSP susulan pengambilalihan pada 2011 dengan nilai transaksi RM32 bilion. - UTUSAN ONLINE

Has Khazanah or EPF funds been diverted to unprofitable deals such as 1MDB? A Rakyat Toll Koperasi (RTC) would better serve Rakyat than Khazanah. RTC would be solely focus on Rakyat's interest and not diverse interest of Khazanah stake holders. Sole objective of RTC is to keep cost low. NO PROFIT ELEMENT. Can Khazanah prevent a repeat of 1MDB?
