Khalid Samad urges Agong to act on rumours linking Pahang palace and logging

Amanah lawmaker Khalid Samad says the Yang di-Pertuan Agong should immediately address the rumours linking the palace to the destructive logging activities in Pahang and the floods that have ravaged the state. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Najjua Zulkefli, January 3, 2021.

SHAH Alam lawmaker Khalid Samad has urged the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to act against people who have been spreading rumours about the palace for personal gain. The Amanah member of Parliament said in a statement if the issue was not addressed, it may bring down the royal institution, which, he said, was one of the main foundations of the country.
