KUALA LUMPUR: A total of RM751mil worth of additional medical equipment has been needed to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic so far, says Khairy Jamaluddin.

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of RM751mil worth of additional medical equipment has been needed to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic so far, says Khairy Jamaluddin .

He said the emergency procurement was required to equip hospitals and medical facilities to deal with the rise in Covid-19 cases during the pandemic. He was responding to a question raised by Datuk Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid on whether permanent Covid-19 hospitals would be set up in all states in the future.
