VILLAGERS in Kampung Tok Uban in Kuala Krai are living in fear as wild elephants by the dozens continue to roam and ravage the Kelantan village over the past month, Sinar Harian reported.
Farmers also complained of their crops being destroyed by the elephants.“Before this, I had never even seen an elephant. But now they are just right outside my house. It is not just one or two, we are talking about a large group of up to 20 elephants,” said villager Mohd Ridzuman Hanapi.
