Monday, 20 Jun 2022 10:01 AM MYT KOTA BARU, June 20 — There are no leaders and civil servants in Kelantan who have been charged with offences such as misappropriation, abuse of power and corruption since the administration of PAS in Kelantan so far, said Deputy Mentri Besar, Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah. He, however, admitted that some officers or staff had been investigated over such matters after receiving reports from certain parties. He said the high allocation was due to the vibrant new projects under the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) and continuation of projects under 11MP, which would definitely contribute to economic development in the state. “Since the administration of the late Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, it has been mentioned that if there is misappropriation, abuse of power or graft among government leaders, then the matter can be lodged with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) or the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM). “If a report has been lodged, we are ready to be investigated. “Kelantan as a state is economically competitive and there is a balanced growth in physical development and human capital development. This is our stand in terms of democracy. “Among them are conducting road resurfacing works at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) compound, repairing damaged road in Kempas stretching 200 metres and carrying out drain cleaning works around Johor Baru,” he said.

But, any allegation must have evidence and that must be the basis,” he told reporters after the Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation (PKINK) Group Appreciation Night & Sunnah Economic Speech here yesterday. He said this in his speech at the Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation (PKINK) Appreciation Night here today, which was also attended by PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang. PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang and Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob also attended the event. — Bernama Advertisement .
