Kawal lambakan rumah supaya tidak jadi seperti Hong Kong, kata PM

Dr Mahathir Mohamad berkata ia melibatkan rumah yang sepatutnya mampu dibeli oleh orang Malaysia tetapi tidak dibeli oleh orang tempatan dan berbeza dengan pembangunan mewah seperti Forest City di Johor. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 15 Oktober, 2019.

KEPUTUSAN kerajaan membenarkan warga asing membeli rumah berharga RM600,000 untuk mengelakkan krisis akibat lambakan hartanah yang tidak terjual, kata Perdana Menteri Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Katanya, krisis itu boleh dilihat berlaku di Hong Kong dan Tokyo apabila banyak hartanah mewah tidak terjual kerana harga terlalu tinggi.
