KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 — The Transport Ministry and its Investigation Committee, which conducted a probe into the collision between two Light Rail Transit trains on May 24, never stated that no one is to be blamed for causing the incident to happen, said its minister, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
“Whatever internal action to be taken against the personnel involved in the incident must be governed strictly by the employment contractual terms signed between the respective personnel and Prasarana,” he said in a statement issued via his official Facebook page yesterday. In the incident, 47 passengers suffered serious injuries while 166 escaped with minor injuries when a train ferrying passengers and a faulty train, which was being test-driven, collided in a tunnel between the Kampung Baru and KLCC stations.
“When I ordered the formation of the committee to thoroughly examine the tragic LRT collision, the terms of reference for the committee were to be made clear in its mission. We also want to prevent something like this from happening again,” he said.
Bagus resign je la. Nanti sibuk kena attend court hearing for lawsuit by victims. Mana ada masa jadi menteri lagi.
Should sue the pasir salak monkey for such stupid statements I hope the victim and family should do that
Ka Sial yes no cover up but you are known as a running dog n a LIAR…so how?
Not up to say, you are just ann what Atas said only ! right ?
This report is carefully worded as such in preparation for a possible lawsuit from the victims.
Problem is when he say people believe even more there is. Credibility gap
Truly a KerajaanGagal . No transparency at all to regain trust of LRT commuters. Unbelievable. weekasiongmp
At its most basic. The facts and the causes. It ought not to broad brush accountability, lapses of responsibility, methods and standards of probity and transparency. So what was its mandate ? Werent u one of the first to speak about possible blame or was that hazarding a guess
