PUTRAJAYA: Those intending to take their driving licences from April may do so through the automated driving test or “e-testing”, says Road Transport Dept (JPJ) director-general Datuk Zailani Hashim.

"Those taking their driving test through the system will be able to get their results immediately as the tests will be conducted in real time.

He added that the system would also help reduce the need for JPJ personnel to be present at driving tests. The system will be implemented gradually with the 232 driving schools nationwide free to take up the e-testing application from service providers.
