“Dr Sahruddin told us that he wanted to focus on managing the affairs of the state,” he told a press conference at the Tebrau Bersatu division office yesterday. “Dr Sahruddin will still be present at all state Bersatu meetings in his capacity as Mentri Besar,” he said.Mazlan also announced the appointment of other top office bearers including Larkin assemblyman Mohd Izhar Ahmad as treasurer, Pulai division chief Ya’cob Atan as information chief and Sekijang division chief Uzzair Ismail as media director.
