Johor Jewels mempamerkan aksi cukup garang sebaik wisel dibunyikan dan berjaya memberikan tekanan kepada KL Wildcats untuk mendahului pada suku pertama 17-8. Pada suku ketiga, KL Wildcats yang dibimbing Norizan Rajab cuba melakukan kebangkitan dan mereka berjaya untuk merapatkan kedudukan 39-34 selepas berjaya mengutip mata demi mata.
Kekebalan benteng pertahanan Johor yang diketuai goal keeper , Gayani Samanthika juga turut memberi kesukaran buat KL Wildcats melakukan jaringan untuk merapatkan kedudukan.
