The four-day gathering of youths, themed “Defying Gravity: Igniting Unity” is expected to attract about 1,000 students aged between 13 and 25 from Malaysia and around the globe.
An invitation to attend the conference has also been extended to director of the Johor Education Department, Azman Adnan. She elaborated: “The conference will provide them with exposure to global issues and solutions, to promote critical and constructive thinking among the youths.” The keynote address will be delivered by chief executive officer of the Malaysian Development Corporation, Dr Mohd Suhaizam Mohd Zain; and former Miss World Malaysia Dr Soo Wincci.
It was initiated by the Johor Education Department and the Iskandar Regional Development , and receives firm support from the Johor state government.
