JOHOR BARU: The state Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) is planning to invest more in its Agrobazaar online service due to popular demand since the movement control order (MCO) started.

Johor Agriculture, Agro-based and Rural Development Committee chairman Datuk Samsolbari Jamali said that the platforms serve as a medium for members of the public to buy groceries without the need of going out of their homes.

“Fama has recently changed the contents sold to fresh fruits, veggies, seafood, poultry, and meat in order to cope with the current needs of the people. Samsolbari added that the app would also ensure that the source of income for farmers would not be cut off during the MCO.
