SEPANG: A total of 15 Malaysians who fell victim to job scam syndicates in Cambodia and Laos were brought home in two separate flights Thursday (Oct 6), says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah.

The Foreign Minister said eight victims arrived from Cambodia on Thursday evening while seven more arrived from Laos Thursday night.Wisma Putra needs more funds to better assist M’sian victims of job scams stuck overseas, says Saifuddin"A total of 273 victims have been rescued in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar from April till now out of the 401 cases reported to us.

"We have intensified our efforts by collaborating with the authorities from the countries concerned to track down the others, those who have been rescued and, after the countries’ legal processes, will be brought home as soon as possible.
