KUALA LUMPUR: Ahli perniagaan yang dikehendaki, Low Take Jho sangat menggesa untuk memulakan satu projek pembangunan di Pulau Bidong, Terengganu dengan pinjaman sebanyak RM5 bilion, kata saksi kepada Mahkamah Tinggi hari ini.
Beliau berkata pinjaman itu sepatutnya dijamin kerajaan persekutuan dan duit itu diperlukan dengan segera kerana pembangunan Pulau Bidong sudah dirancang. “Jho Low juga mencadangkan saya menggesa para pegawai Kementerian Kewangan sementara dia juga akan melakukan perkara yang sama dengan menteri kewangan dari atas ke bawah,” katanya ketika disoal pendakwa raya ad hoc, Gopal Sri Ram.
Penolong Pendaftar Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia, Rafidah Yahaya dalam keterangannya sebelum ini berkata Najib mengambil alih TIA sebelum namanya ditukar kepada 1MDB.
