“I can see without any problem while I’m playing,” the world number one, who underwent surgery for an eye socket fracture in February after the car crash, told reporters.The accident, which happened hours after the 25-year-old won the Malaysia Masters, killed the driver of the vehicle taking him to Kuala Lumpur airport.

The Games are now scheduled to begin on July 23, 2021 — though they will still be known as the 2020 Games — but medical experts have raised concerns the delay is not long enough to contain the virus and hold the event safely.
