Police say that 822 people were arrested during the same period on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

A total of 22 accidents involving drunk drivers were reported during the first five months of this year and 822 people were arrested during the same period on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Azisman Alias said those who were arrested between January and May, comprised of those from age 15 to 41 years old.
