Sejak semalam tular mesej dalam media sosial mendakwa 250 Orang Asli di Kampung Ulu Groh positif Covid-19 dan melarikan diri masuk ke dalam hutan.

“Masyarakat Orang Asli di situ (Kampung Ulu Groh, Gopeng) juga memberikan kerjasama yang baik dan sebilangan kes yang positif telah dihantar ke Pusat kuarantin dan Rawatan Covid-19 Berisiko Rendah (PKRC) Sungkai, Perak.“Pengoperasian Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketat (PKPD) dikawal rapi oleh Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) dan Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) serta bantuan makanan asas turut disediakan dan diselaraskan oleh Jawatankuasa Bencana Daerah Kampar serta Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli (JAKOA),” katanya dalam satu kenyataannya di sini hari ini.
