MAHKAMAH Tinggi hari ini diberitahu bahawa Jabatan Kewangan Felda tidak mengetahui pembelian Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites di Kuching, Sarawak oleh Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd bernilai RM160 juta, tidak mendapat kelulusan Ahli Lembaga Pengarah Felda. Bekas Pengarah Kewangan Felda, Mohd Shahrin Mohd Ali, 50, berkata, surat permohonan daripada FICSB iaitu anak syarikat Felda untuk mendapatkan wang pendahuluan RM1 juta dan RM1. 88 juta bagi pembelian hotel berkenaan tidak dinyatakan tentang kelulusan pembelian hotel tersebut.
