ISRAEL bersetuju untuk ‘menghentikan penaklukan di wilayah Palestin’ di bawah perjanjian damai dengan UAE. FOTO AFPDUBAI: Israel bersetuju untuk 'menghentikan penaklukan di wilayah Palestin' di bawah perjanjian damai dengan Emeriah Arab Bersatu yang disaksikan Amerika Syarikat, kata Putera Mahkota Abu Dhabi menerusi Twitter, hari ini.

"Ketika perbualan telefon dengan Presiden Trump and Perdana Menteri Netanyahu, persetujuan dicapai untuk Israel menghentikan penaklukan ke atas Palestin." kata Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nayhan di Twitter rasminya. Sementara itu, Duta UAE ke Washington berkata, perjanjian damai antara UAE dan Israel itu adalah kemenangan kepada diplomasi dan langkah hebat dan ketara dalam perhubungan antara Israel dan negara Arab.

"Pengumuman hari ini adalah kemenangan kepada diplomasi dan wilayah ini. Ia adalah langkah ke depan dalam perhubungan Arab dan Israel, sekali gus meredakan ketegangan dan membina tenaga baharu kepada perubahan positif," kata Yousef al-Otaiba menerusi kenyataan. Sementara itu, di Jerusalem, Perdana Menteri Benjamin Netanyahu menerusi Twitternya berkata, pemulihan hubungan Israel dan UAE yang didedahkan menerusi pengumuman mengejutkan Trump itu dianggap hari penuh sejarah.
