KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 — DAP lawmaker Lim Kit Siang today asked Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin to clarify the country’s latest Covid-19 deaths, pointing to the different data given by two websites.
“If the Worldometer website is right about 222 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, Khairy must call for a total revamp of the anti-Covid policy and strategy, for such high Covid-19 death numbers in the eighth week of Khairy as Health Minister only means we are adopting the wrong policy and strategy,” he said in a statement. He also pointed out that the Melaka state election is just around the corner.
The CovidNow website has been used as the Health Ministry’s official portal for Covid-19 data and is updated daily, with the number of confirmed deaths usually listed at midnight.
Whatever the number is, im still curious to know how they plan to clear up the previous cases? The backlogs doesn’t bother them?
Seriously, have you check with worldometer to clarify before you starts to create f**king statements? It just create nothing but bring fear and alarm to the citizen!!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND OLD MAN
Why should Khairykj be answerable to information published on a 3rd party site? Who is to say worldometer didn't make an error - so MOH needs to be accountable for their mistake? I'm all for opposition playing their role for check & balance but let's not make unwarranted noise.
Shutup ..Apek
Consistent pattern = kleptocratic nationalist ruling parties covered up death tolls by up to FIVE TIMES. Malaysia was relatively honest in 2020 compared to lying India Brazil Russia, but UMNO 2021 emergency rule = beginning of LIES Cover-ups cause even more NEEDLESS deaths.
