Ipoh Datuk Bandar Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim said the DCP would shorten the application process and procedure for developers to secure permits, thus saving costs and ensuring development is expedited.
"This is an effort to improve the delivery system, which not only has an impact on our services but also saves cost and improves the image of government bodies," he said during the launch of the manual at Weil Hotel here on Wednesday .These include shophouses, offices, club houses, budget hotels, eateries, warehouses and recreational centres.
"The period from application to the acknowledgment and approval of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance has also been cut from 175 days to just 59 days," he added.
