PETALING JAYA: Interstate travel may be allowed by March 18 if the number of new Covid-19 cases is showing a downward trend, says Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba .

“So we have decided that there will be no interstate travelling until March 18, ” he said, adding that the decision would be reviewed from time to time. “We know that interstate travel restriction is one of the measures needed to reduce the number of cases, ” he said. Dr Adham also said the travel ban was the most stringent “maximum measure” to be imposed but the government intends to balance life and livelihoods.
