Imposing fuel tax for ICE car doesnt help to promote ev. Come to sabah n one will see how many fuel stations on the way to east coast. 500km range EV wont be enough to cater privates to east coast. No need to talk abt EV if facilities isn't there. Public tansprt 👎🏿

Electric vehicles is a long way off. If your reason is to increase revenue from petrol sales, just say it. Don't hide behind technology and try to look progressive. Gee, all these lies and senseless, selfish suggestions are getting too much.

Tesla cars in Malaysia ridiculously expensive, only for Kayangan people! Quit obvious the Govt wants to keep their pockets full

yup... while at that... push for inheritance tax, capital gain tax, land idle tax (developer), vacant units tax, windfall tax... for spare cash

In order to do that, please make sure EV infrastructure etc is in place, so please so not do anything half baked .....

It will.not be a popular decision but it will be a great incentive towards saving the environment.
