Ilham Centre: Malay-Muslims primarily concerned with ‘bread and butter’ issues

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 — The Malay Muslim community prioritised social and economic issues such as poverty and living cost over matters such as institutional reform, according to a survey by think-tank Ilham Centre.

“The issue of ‘bread and butter’ preceded everything. The main consideration of the Malay community in their life choices, they will prioritise aspects of their survival. The research centre said that 32 per cent of Malay Muslim respondents said the economy should get focus for improvement, followed by government administration , Parliament , judiciary and others .

All the government programs loans benefits, education, grants felda and this been given out more than 30years ..and it's still bread butter .. Everything given ler ..

bread and butter they arent getting their full share save for bits and pcs.

They have been conditioned as such by chedetofficial . They accept rm200 to vote for UMNO and think its a big deal. They are unable to see the long term effects. That's why NajibRazak has over rm140m in cash. The NEP will keep them poor and UMNO elites will pillage and plunder!

32% of respondent .. seems a low figure f you t make a general statement on what the malay Muslim wants .. and why malay Muslims only .. not Malaysians ..

Depends on which spectrum. The poor ones are suffering, the rich ones are happy, the political ones are ruining the country. Go figure

This is wrong. I don't believe. Hahahaha They'd rather eat dirt and drink drain water than to set aside religion, race and royalty.
