Presiden Persatuan Pengguna Pulau Pinang SM Mohamed Idris yang aktif memperjuangkan hak pengguna dan menyuarakan isu alam sekitar meninggal dunia pada usia 93 tahun. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 17 Mei, 2019.Beliau meninggal dunia di sebuah hospital swasta di Georgetown pada jam 4.45 petang.
