Huawei Malaysia is bringing in their latest MateBook 14s to our local market very soon. It’s powered by the latest 11th gen Intel Core processor and it comes with a 90Hz 2.5K display. The new MateBook will be launched in Malaysia next week through an online live stream event.

Under the hood, it runs on an 11th gen Intel Core H-Series processor with Iris Xe graphics. According to the official, you can get it with either the i5-11300H or i7-11370H option. It can be configured up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD. To keep things cool during intensive use, the laptop has a dual-fan system that features S-shape fan blades to deliver 25% greater air intake.

For clearer conversations during video calls, it also gets 4 built-in mics that can pick up your voice up to 5 metres away. There’s also AI Noise Cancellation and Personal Voice Enhancement feature to filter out unwanted voices and noises. In terms of connectivity, it supports 160Hz 802.11ax WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. It has two USB-C ports that support data, charging and DisplayPort, a USB-A 3.2 Gen1 port, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The spec sheet states that the Core i7 version supports Thunderbolt 4 on the 2nd USB-C port. The MateBook 14s gets a 60Wh Lithium polymer battery and it supports 90W fast charging via USB-C.
