Huawei Technologies CFO Meng Wanzhou is fighting extradition to the US after her arrest in Vancouver in 2018.

Evidence used by the United States to justify the extradition of Huawei Technologies chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou is “unreliable and defective” and should not be considered by a Canadian court, Meng’s lawyers argued in documents released to the media on Friday.

Meng, 48, was arrested in December 2018 on a warrant from the United States which alleges that she misled the bank HSBC about Huawei’s business dealings in Iran.
