KLANG: Home owners at the Prima Bayu Apartments near here feel it will be better if the 30 Nepali workers currently quarantined there are moved to a location closer to the Sungai Buloh Hospital as it is the treatment centre for Covid-19 patients.

This is because the 30 men are all employees of a factory in Port Klang and were housemates and colleagues with 21 other Nepalis who had tested positive for Covid-19.

One of the residents is 63-year-old Lusia Savarimuthu, who is an immediate neighbour to some of the Nepalis.“Apart from the unit next door, there is another unit a few doors away and two or three more Nepalis living there had also tested positive," she added.“Their balcony is just next to mine and I can see the quarantined men standing there smoking and speaking on the phone," said Lusia.

She said it was unfortunate that they were in a tight spot with many residents not wanting them there.
