IT is highly probable that the sex video implicating a minister is authentic, said Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador. “The results of the facial recognition, however, has been negative and the video cannot be linked to the alleged personalities,” Hamid said in a statement today. Hamid was commenting on the findings by Cyber Security Malaysia, which was tasked with investigating the authencity of the sex videos.
Police investigations, however, show that there is a malicious group behind the video, which is aimed at bringing down the reputation of an individual, said Hamid. “The people behind the video were paid hundreds of thousands of ringgit to circulate the video to the public,” said the police chief. – July 18, 2019.Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
