ALOR SETAR: Jumlah penyakit tangan, kaki dan mulut di Kedah terus menunjukkan trend penurunan dengan hanya 531 kes baharu dicatatkan pada minggu epidemiologi ke-24 iaitu antara 12 hingga 18 Jun lalu.
“Tiada kes yang mengalami komplikasi teruk atau memerlukan rawatan intensif. Selain itu, dalam minggu ke-24 ini, terdapat satu wabak baharu HFMD dilaporkan melibatkan sebuah taman asuhan kanak-kanak . Menurut Mohd. Hayati, secara keseluruhannya, kes HFMD di Kedah setakat 18 Jun lalu adalah sebanyak 5,425 kes.
“Daerah Kuala Muda mencatatkan bilangan kes tertinggi iaitu 1,337 kes diikuti Kulim sebanyak 806 kes, Kubag Pasu 797 kes dan Kota Setar 537 kes,” katanya.
