newyork Harimau betina berusia empat tahun yang ditempatkan di Zoo The Bronx, dekat sini, disahkan Covid-19.

BBC News melaporkan, keputusan ujian terhadap harimau itu disahkan oleh Perkhidmatan Makmal Veterinar Kebangsaan di Lowa.

“Haiwan itu kelihatan hilang selera makan tetapi keadaannya nampak baik, peka dan masih berinteraksi dengan penjaga zoo. Difahamkan, empat harimau lain di situ, iaitu harimau bintang salji, Cheetah, Amur dan Puma tidak menunjukkan sebarang tanda penyakit.

Hati-hati. Haiwan peliharaan kita juga berkemungkinan boleh menjadi perumah. Simpan kucing dan anjing di rumah. Jangan biarkan kucing-kucing dan anjing merayau. Kucing balik, jilat tuan. Secara tak langsung, tuan pula dijangkiti. Segalanya mungkin.
