APABILA Dr Mahathir Mohamad berucap pada sesi dialog Sidang Kemuncak Perniagaan dan Pelaburan Asean 2019 Sabtu lepas, di luar Sidang Kemuncak Asean ke-35 yang berakhir baru-baru ini di Bangkok, beliau menyeru 10 negara anggota Asean supaya bercakap dalam satu suara di pentas global bagi mengelakkan dibuli, terutama oleh negara maju.
Ahli politik yang lantang bersuara itu menjadikan kedudukan Asean sangat jelas - Asean dengan 650 juta penduduknya adalah pasaran besar untuk seluruh dunia dan tidak mahu terjerumus ke dalam perang perdagangan.
