KUALA LUMPUR: Seorang saksi memberitahu Mahkamah Sesyen di sini hari ini, beliau tidak mengetahui bekas Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang, Lim Guan Eng pernah mengadakan pertemuan dengan seorang pengarah syarikat yang berminat melaksanakan projek pembinaan jalan utama dan terowong dasar laut di negeri itu.
Saksi pendakwaan ketiga yang kini Ketua Seksyen Pengangkutan, Bahagian Perancangan Ekonomi Pulau Pinang menyatakan demikian ketika menjawab soalan tambahan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin pada perbicaraan kes rasuah terhadap Guan Eng. “Dalam mesyuarat MMK tersebut, beliau tidak menyatakan berjumpa atau berunding… tapi cuma menyatakan ada sebuah syarikat hendak terokai pembinaan projek terowong di Pulau Pinang,” katanya. Hock Seng yang juga bekas Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri DAP Bagan Jermal selanjutnya memberitahu, Guan Eng telah mengarahkannya menghubungi Zarul Ahmad dan seorang lagi pengarah syarikat selepas MMK bermesyuarat.
Guan Eng juga dituduh menyebabkan Pendaftar Tanah Pulau Pinang melupuskan Lot Tanah No.H.S. 19318, No. PT Lot 10012 Seksyen 1, Bandar Tanjong Pinang, Daerah Timor Laut, bernilai RM73,668,986 kepada Syarikat Zenith Urban Development Sdn Bhd.
