Govt ready to provide more fiscal support, minister says

Putrajaya is ready to provide additional fiscal support if the need arises, so as to preserve the wellbeing of the people and businesses as well as strengthen the country’s healthcare system, says Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Seth Akmal, September 9, 2021.

FINANCE Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz today reiterated the government’s readiness to provide additional fiscal support if the need arises, so as to preserve the wellbeing of the people and businesses as well as strengthen the country’s healthcare system, while minimising scarring to the wider economy.
