PETALING JAYA: Fines are being mulled for those caught jumping the queue for Covid-19 vaccines, says Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

“Under the Act, we have several specific provisions in which we can bring a person to justice by way of a fine if they prevent or stall efforts to control and prevent the spread of Covid-19,

Meanwhile, Khairy said a special committee has been set up to investigate complaints of queue jumping for the vaccines meant for frontliners under the first phase of the national immunisation programme. This includes family members and spouses of Cabinet ministers and lawmakers. He clarified the recent incident involving several aides of state exco members jumping queue for the vaccine was due confusion.

“We have decided to come out with clear guidelines which will specify in detail who are frontliners and this will be uploaded to our website. The issue of queue-jumping will not arise anymore and all will be asked to adhere to the guidelines, ” he said.

Been seeing the same statement over and over again. So either get it done, or just mull to cease the hollow talk. So much noise. From one ministry to another, now this, Malaysia seems to be in dire noise pollution, and heading for worse.

How about MP jumper

Do you think anyone would believe a thing you said? We have law breakers with evidence and yet they are not fined till today.

it's about priority... if implemented, then the rich would happily paid the fine

Alahaii.. Yg nak jump2 ni org yg ada kuasa je, yg rasa they can overruled anyone under them.. The punishment should be more than fine

Then fine those who jumped already. Publish the figures to see which states have the most queue jumpers. From reports, Kelantan has the most jumpers. Is it true?

don’t mull, just bloody do it lah....

sinovac should only be given to chinks

Q-jumpers wud not arise if those controlling d list do not go astray or go gaga when a VVIP suddenly appear 4 their shot.

Is not about fine! Is about control! You can’t even control who supposed to be vaccined first? Common...

Strange... Shouldn't govt tighten the SOP for queue instead of fine? Fine who? The govt officer that allow queue jumping?

Fine yourself then DrAdhamBaba . The nurse should get it first, NOT YOU

The higher/more important the position, the bigger the fine ya pls !
