The prime minister says the Malays should also look for jobs themselves, with training and business opportunities provided by the government.

Acknowledging that the majority of civil servants are Malays, the prime minister said this was why Putrajaya is encouraging them to find jobs on their own.

He was responding to Ismail Mohamed Said (BN-Kuala Krau) who asked if the government would consider absorbing some 50,000 contract workers into the civil service.

However, he said this would mean fewer vacancies in the civil service.

He also assured that the proposed contract scheme to replace the permanent and pensionable establishment in public services would only cover new appointments.

This nonagenarian just realised that the coffers number is getting smaller by the year but yet, like the world’s great kleptocracy, the delusional continued on and sadly, many still hoping in vain. He started all these Malay dorminance with no qualifications/merit. Look at him now, an old man crying over spilled milk. What a karma.

What the fock does he expect? Since when have the government provided jobs to all Malays Not in any of the 23yrs you were in power.

Except if they are your children, cronies or proxies eh Tun? Your single crony's income could easily support the livelihoods of hundreds to thousands, therefore, without the cronyism that YOU started, there may have been 33 million Malaysians having a decently paying job instead.
