Popularity of app rose amid calls for boycott of Chinese mobile apps in India. FMTNews RemoveChinaApps Google TikTok

Remove China Apps scans your phone for apps such as ByteDance’s TikTok and deletes them.

The app, “Remove China Apps”, had become top trending free app on Google’s mobile app store in India with more than five million downloads since late May. A Google spokesman confirmed to Reuters the app had been removed due to violation of app store policies, but gave no further details.
