PETALING JAYA: All parties must give ample space to the relevant authorities to conduct their investigations involving the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki shares controversy, says Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal AzumuThe Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia deputy president said they must allow the authorities including the police, Securities Commission and internal investigations to conduct their respective probes without prejudice.
"This is because as a civil servant, when carrying out their duties, sometimes they might become a target due to their assertiveness," he said in a statement Monday . He pointed out that Azam had given an explanation regarding the matter, showing his high integrity as a top civil servant.
