KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 — The Court of Appeal has fixed September 8 for case management regarding the appeal of former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad against his conviction and jail sentence and fine on nine charges of corruption involving RM3 million graft relating to the purchase of the Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites in Kuching, Sarawak.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Afzainizam Abdul Aziz when contacted said further management of the case was fixed because the appeal record had not been completed. The court sentenced him to six years in prison for each charge making a total of 54 years and a fine of RM15.45 million or 18 years in prison if he fails to pay the fine.
