The federal territories minister said he only wanted to reduce unnecessary spending of taxpayers’ money.“As FT minister I must be responsible for DBKL money and make sure it’s not used simply,” he told a news conference in his office here. “If you say I’m an apologist, I will defend myself. Why would I want to meet the developers so many times to renegotiate this deal?” he posed to the press.
Dbkl took a deposit. Refund the deposit - its not a loss or compensation! Basically the money has been spent has it? This is clear cut dodgy deal by BN. Come on KhalidSamad .
He forgot he was on the same platform to address TTDI residents last year and this year a joint committee meeting too was held! Rubbish! When someone already pay you monies for the land, returning the same money is not saving public fund, it's a refund
