Govt, however, is urging employers to give a paid holiday anyway.

The impromptu public holiday in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan is not a paid holiday covered by the Employment Act. However, Human Resources Minister M Saravanan is encouraging employers in the three Federal Territories to give their workers a paid holiday anyway.

Why would he even encourage employers to not follow the Act? Is that responsible?

This holiday culture thingi needs to stop. Seriously.

Sebenarnya holiday itu bukanya holiday macam biasa, dia holiday special yang kena pergi kerja jika tak nak tolak gaji. Faham? Macam burger ramli *special* tu

Seriously, if declare PH, meaning is a paid holiday. Can u all get urself together and so something good? Such a big cabinet, all useless.
